What type of nursing did you do? Yeah, there are some great med blogs! I found blogging during my cancer ordeal, too:

Osteosarcoma in right maxillary sinus, sent to MD Anderson, lots of Ifosfamide and radiation, total maxillectomy with plastic surgery, some Cisplatin and Doxorubicn which I quit AMA after one cycle since I was seeing any possible benefits were being crushed by mainly nephrotoxicity and ototoxicity (although I can thank 50 Grays of x-rays from the linear accelerator whilst I was bolted to the table in a skin-tight head mask that reminded me of alien abuction stories for the significant hearing loss in right ear), and to lesser extent, cardiotoxicity, etc.

Your baby is so cute! :-) How long ago did you kick the cancer? Did you go to a specialty hospital? Now that you are done with cancer, are you able to work again?

Doesn't cancer SUCK? Well I am convinced that I will never take care of oncology patients. Not that I don't care for them--I do. It's just that I could never inflict chemo on a person, no matter what the medical oncologist says. I hate the word iatrogenic.
